We4Ce successfully introduced a 2.0MW 57.0m rotor blade design in the Chinese market.

Nantong Dongtai New Energy Equipment, a Chinese producer of rotor blades for Windturbines ordered a 2.0MW 57.0m WC III rotor blade design. This rotor blade is the longest blade in in the 2 MW segment using a limited pitch circle diameter. The blade being built in China is already fully certified by TUV Rheinland. The required static & dynamic tests passed successfully the examination.

Nantong Dongtai is producing this rotor blade in several moulds installed in 2 production plants in China.

The possibility for the limited pitch circle diameter 2,110mm for the 57.0m rotor blade design is achieved by the We4Ce root bushing solution. Since 2012 more than 20,000 rotor blades are produced with this fully certified We4Ce root bushing solution in the 1.5MW up till 5.0MW segments.
